OverviewJoin our dynamic facilities team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, spotless, and welcoming environment.This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of commercial, industrial, or residential spaces.Your dedication will ensure that our facilities remain pristine, functional, and inviting for all visitors and staff.We value proactive individuals who take pride in their work and thrive in a fast-paced setting.Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain high-quality flooring finishes Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and facilities upkeep to support overall building operations Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly Support industrial cleaning efforts when required, including cleaning large equipment or specialized areas Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care (buffing, stripping, sealing), and use of cleaning equipment is essential Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance adds valuable versatility Strong understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning routines are completed efficiently Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference every day!
