Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team.In this vital role, you will ensure that our work environment remains spotless, safe, and welcoming by performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks.Your energetic approach and commitment to cleanliness will help create a positive space for employees, visitors, and clients alike.This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in commercial cleaning, custodial services, and facilities maintenance while contributing to a well-maintained environment.Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance Handle waste disposal by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify areas needing attention or repair Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs when necessary Use industrial cleaning tools for deep cleaning projects or specialized floor care procedures Support overall facilities maintenance by ensuring cleanliness standards are consistently met and safety protocols are followed Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Basic understanding of facilities maintenance procedures is preferred Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently Join us in maintaining a clean and safe environment where every detail counts!
