Janitorial Technician - Tifton, GA (Multiple Locations) Position Type:On-Call / Backup Day Porter We are currently interviewing reliable individuals who live in Tifton, GA, or within a 30-minute driving radius to join our on-call support team.This role is designed to provide coverage support when our regularly scheduled day porters are unavailable.Candidates selected will be added to our staffing database and contacted as shifts become available.This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking flexible, as-needed work with a professional facilities services company. We will not be able to take anyone with a criminal history as the cleanings involve government buildings and you will not pass a background check Maximum of 23 working hours per week.Looking for 1-2 qualified and willing janitorial technicians Pay:$15/hr Schedule:Part-time (evening and daytime shifts available) Employment Type:W-2 Employee About the Role:XGM Enterprises is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Technicians to help maintain several city buildings in Tifton, GA.You'll play a vital role in maintaining public spaces that are clean, organized, and presentable for city staff and visitors.We provide:All cleaning supplies and equipment Training before starting work ongoing support from our supervisor team Locations & Hours:Police Department (527 Commerce Way) - Monday & Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM City Hall (130 E.1st Street) - Tuesday & Thursday, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM City Complex (1000 Armour Road) - Tuesday & Thursday, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Community Development (204 N.Ridge Ave) - Wednesday, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM Youth Center (511 W.17th Street) - Wednesday, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tift Theatre (320 Main Street) - Monday, 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM Job Overview:This position is responsible for cleaning and servicing allocated buildings.Inspect work performed in assigned building/property(s) and submits reports to the Supervisor.Positions may be indoors to maintain the interior of the community, outdoors to maintain the exterior, or a mixture of both.Your Responsibilities:Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.Inform Supervisor of needed supplies.Maintains all cleaning solutions in accordance with OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.Remove trash from premises and assist in emergency cleaning.Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.Inspects all assigned areas daily and reports all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to the Supervisor.Ensures that security procedures are always adhered to.Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.Maintains working relationship with building staff.Furnishes and burnishes floors as required.Completes daily work orders as scheduled.Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.As applicable, cleans restrooms:Sweeps and mops floors.Refills all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap.Cleans toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters.Empty/remove trash.Reports any discrepancies or deficiencies to the supervisor.Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalency preferred Previous custodial experience preferred but not required Effective written and verbal communication skills.Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs.following appropriate safety procedure Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.Crawl in small and tight spaces; Ability to work in different environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain).Walk and climb stairs; Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment Reach with hands and arms Ability quickly and easily navigates the property/building as required to meet the job function Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers Complete all required for Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3 ft).To Apply:Send your name, phone number, email address, and a short note about your past cleaning experience or why you'd be a great fit for this role:All resumes can be sent to:thomaswallacex@gmail.com Job Type:Part-time Pay:$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
