Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine surface appearance Handle janitorial duties including waste removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene and safety Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including cleaning large equipment or specialized areas Support facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to ensure the environment remains functional and attractive Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and supplies inventory Requirements Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders when necessary This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a clean and safe environment.
