Job Description We are looking for a dependable janitorial employee to clean and maintain our store every night, 7 days a week. This position is responsible for making sure the entire store, both inside and outside, is fully cleaned, safe, and ready for business the next day. This is a hands-on cleaning position. The right person must be reliable, able to work independently, and available to work nightly, Monday through Sunday. Responsibilities The janitorial employee is responsible for completing all nightly cleaning duties every day of the week. Duties include, but are not limited to: Clean and sweep the entire sales floor nightly Mop all floors, especially high-traffic areas Clean and sanitize bathrooms completely Empty all inside garbage cans and replace liners Empty outside garbage cans and replace liners Sweep the front entrance, sidewalk, and outside walkway Pick up trash, cigarette butts, and debris around the outside of the store Wipe down counters, display areas, door handles, glass doors, and high-touch surfaces Clean windows and glass areas as needed Dust shelves, displays, corners, and visible surfaces Keep the checkout area and back counter clean and organized Clean spills, sticky spots, marks, and dirt wherever found Restock bathroom supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other basic supplies Break down and remove boxes or trash left from the day Make sure cleaning supplies are put away properly after use Report anything broken, leaking, unsafe, or unusual to management Complete any additional cleaning tasks needed to keep the store clean, safe, and presentable This position is not limited to a set checklist. The expectation is that the store is fully cleaned every night, 7 days a week, and any task needed to keep the store clean must be completed before the shift is finished. Physical Requirements This position requires physical cleaning work every shift. Candidate must be able to safely perform the required duties of the job, including: Standing and walking during the shift Bending, squatting, reaching, and moving around the store Lifting and carrying garbage bags and cleaning supplies Sweeping and mopping inside and outside areas Pushing or pulling garbage bins when needed Cleaning low areas, corners, floors, and under fixtures Completing all nightly cleaning duties fully and safely Applicants should only apply if they are able to complete the physical requirements of a nightly janitorial cleaning position. Requirements Must be available to work 7 days a week Must be reliable and show up on time every night Must be able to work independently Must take pride in keeping things clean Must be responsible and trustworthy Must be able to complete all nightly cleaning duties before leaving Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is helpful but not required Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is consistent, detail-oriented, and does not need to be reminded to do the basics. This is a good position for someone who wants steady nightly work and is comfortable working independently. Pay: $14.00 - $14.25 per hour Work Location: In person
