Janitorial Worker

Job Overview This is a part-time janitorial position 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors. Must pass a government clearance background check to receive approval to work. Must have reliable transportation. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas Empty trash bins and replace liners Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed Ensure all areas are free from debris and clutter Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed -hours are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Requirements Previous experience as a Janitor or in a similar role preferred Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques Ability to operate cleaning equipment such vacuum cleaners Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively -Must pass government clearance check Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
