Job Description
A global freight forwarding company is urgently looking for a Japanese/English Bilingual Customer Service Agent at their Closter branch. The positions require excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to speak, read and write in Japanese. This position is available in full-time and part time, ON-SITE work, Temp to Hire position. Entry-level and new grads candidates are encourage to apply. Responsibilities - Japanese/English Bilingual Customer Service Agent: Provide customer service support for international moving services Communicate with clients via email and phone in both Japanese and English Coordinate moving schedules and logistics with internal teams and external partners Serve as a point of contact between customers, overseas agents, and operations staff Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth relocation experience for clients Perform general administrative tasks related to moving operations (documentation, data entry, etc.) Support additional tasks based on experience and skill level Qualifications - Japanese/English Bilingual Customer Service Agent: Bilingual in Japanese and English (both written and verbal) Experience in customer service, logistics, or moving industry Experience in freight forwarding or international relocation services Administrative or coordination experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
