About UsWe are a rapidly growing wholesale jewelry company based in beautiful Sarasota, FL, supplying premium jewelry to retail stores throughout North America.As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves on a fun, laid-back, and supportive work environment.We are currently expanding and launching a new, complementary business, offering massive opportunities for professional development and financial growth for the right candidate.We are also hiring for operational support roles (invoicing, supporting our sales team, shipping etc..) as well as sales roles.Position SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented, energetic team member to join our Purchasing/Inventory department.In this role, you will be the backbone of our inventory management, handling incoming merchandise, ensuring quality standards, and supporting our purchasing team.If you have a passion for jewelry, strong organizational skills, and want to grow with a company, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities Inventory Control:Receive, check-in, inspect, and log all incoming jewelry merchandise with high accuracy.Quality Control (QC):Inspect jewelry for defects, craftsmanship, and quality standards (checking stones, metal finish, etc.).Purchasing Support:Assist the purchasing department with vendor communication, tracking orders, and managing inventory stock levels.Data Management:Maintain accurate inventory records in our system, including photographing and tagging new items.Trade Show Support:Opportunity to travel to and work at industry trade shows.Warehouse Operations:Organize inventory, process returns, and ensure efficient workflow.Qualifications Jewelry Experience Required:Previous experience in retail jewelry, jewelry production, or gemology is necessary.Purchasing Experience:Not required--we will train the right candidate on purchasing, but you must be eager to learn.Organization:Meticulous attention to detail and ability to organize small, high-value items.Tech Savvy:Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office/Excel) and experience with POS or inventory tracking software is a plus.Communication:Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with vendors and our team.Why Join Us?
