Job Title Job Captain Job Roles And Responsibilities Support Project Manager in producing and issuing accurate construction documents and deliverables Coordinate with consultants (MEP, structural) and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution Guide and mentor junior team members Review and apply relevant building codes to project documentation Address plan check comments and ensure compliance with local regulations Prepare and issue documents for permitting and bidding Conduct site surveys and perform punch walk evaluations Visit project sites to monitor progress and prepare field reports Participate in construction administration tasks including responding to RFIs, revising drawings, and reviewing submittals Assist in improving workflows and maintaining quality control standards Manage coordination across multiple teams and deadlines Qualifications And Certifications Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience Experience with retail or multi-site commercial projects Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Working knowledge of SketchUp and Photoshop (preferred) Strong understanding of building codes (IBC, CBC, ADA) Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams Prior experience mentoring or leading junior staff (preferred) Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with employer contribution Paid time off including holidays, vacation, and sick leave Professional development support Learning and training resources Hybrid work support and office perks Commuter assistance programs Flexible spending accounts Life and disability insurance
