Employment Type:Full-Time Experience Level:Experienced (2Years)Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping, Receiving & Logistics Lead to manage our end-to-end warehouse operations.In this role, you will oversee the entire sales order to shipping lifecycle, ensuring 100% accuracy in order fulfillment, inventory control, and outbound logistics.The ideal candidate has strong technical proficiency in inventory software and significant experience coordinating with major freight and small-parcel carriers.Core ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment & Processing Lifecycle Management:Own the full sales order process, from initial entry and verification to final preparation for shipment.Quality Control:Audit customer purchase orders against internal system records to ensure perfect accuracy.Backorder Tracking:Monitor and process backordered items immediately upon arrival, including printing packing slips and organizing items for pick/pack.Warehouse Operations (Inbound & Outbound) Inbound Logistics:Unload trucks and inspect goods against invoices or POs.Document any damages or discrepancies and notify internal departments immediately.Outbound Logistics:Select appropriate packaging for every shipment and generate accurate shipping labels.Documentation:Prepare critical shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOL) and international customs forms.Drop-off Coordination:Hand-deliver goods to specific checkpoints, such as Alaska Air Cargo, when required.Inventory & Carrier Management Carrier Coordination:Schedule pickups and maintain professional, productive relationships with drivers from FedEx, UPS, and various freight companies.Inventory Control:Conduct regular stock counts, label new inventory, and use hand-held scanners to ensure real-time tracking accuracy.Post-Shipping Admin:Proactively email customers copies of their packing slips and BOLs immediately after shipment.Safety, Maintenance & Equipment Safe Operation:Expertly operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand-held barcode scanners.Work Environment:Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following all safety protocols and daily cleanup routines.Qualifications & Requirements Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar shipping/receiving or warehouse lead position.Technical Skills:Proficient with inventory management software and basic computer applications (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).Equipment Proficiency:Certified or highly experienced in the safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.Physical Demands:Must have the stamina for long periods of standing, bending, and lifting heavy items ranging from 30 to 75 lbs.Communication:Strong email etiquette and the ability to maintain professional relationships with external carriers and internal departments.Pay based on experience, room for growth within the company is very high for this position.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Language:English (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Fairbanks, AK 99709 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate:Fairbanks, AK 99709:Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
