Job Description
Overview The JV President role is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an entrepreneurial mortgage professional looking to build, lead, and scale a high-performing origination team. This role sits at the center of a growing, three-state footprint platform, offering the ability to drive production, expand market presence, and partner closely with real estate leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and scale a team of Loan Officers, driving production, performance, and accountability Build a strong, motivated sales culture centered on growth, service, and execution Manage pipeline activity and performance to consistently achieve and exceed monthly production goals Ensure all originations align with Newrez guidelines, pricing, and compliance standards Partner with JV stakeholders and Division leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives Play a hands-on role in recruiting, mentoring, and developing top-tier originators Collaborate with operations to ensure a seamless, efficient loan process from application to closing Leverage marketing-supported lead flow and agent partnerships to increase purchase volume and market share Stay aligned with industry trends to maintain a competitive, forward-thinking platform Who This Role Is Designed For A proven mortgage leader who thrives in a build-and-grow environment Someone motivated by the opportunity to create and lead their own team A professional who values entrepreneurial autonomy supported by an established platform A relationship-builder excited to leverage embedded agent partnerships and referral networks Experience & Qualifications 5+ years of mortgage production experience with demonstrated success Leadership experience managing or mentoring originators across multiple markets Distributed retail or JV experience preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred Core Skills & Strengths Deep knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, and regulatory environment Strong leadership, recruiting, and team-building capabilities Results-driven mindset with a focus on growth, scalability, and accountability Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment The Opportunity This is more than a management role—it’s an opportunity to build something meaningful within a growing, multi-state platform.
