About the Facility Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new production facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. This 1 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art plant—situated on more than 200 acres—will feature a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles. Production will include the N-Series Gas, N-Series Electric, and F-Series Diesel trucks, with a targeted annual production capacity of up to 50,000 units by 2030. Operations are expected to launch in 2027, with expansion planned for 2028. Strategically located near I-85, I-26, and the Port of Charleston, the facility supports streamlined logistics and consolidated operations under one roof. This initiative is projected to create more than 700 new jobs in the region. Job Summary The Vehicle Customization Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily vehicle upfitting and customization activities to ensure all port-installed options are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule to meet customer and distribution requirements. This role leads PIO technicians, assigns and monitors installation work, and ensures all modifications meet quality standards and production timelines. Acting similarly to a service or upfit supervisor, this position ensures the efficient execution of installation activities within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. What You Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or general assembly Minimum of 2 years in a team leadership or supervisory role Strong understanding of general assembly tasks, equipment, and safety procedures Working knowledge of tools and operations including hoists, cranes, torque tools, tire equipment, BEV/GAS modifications, and vehicle structure assembly Familiarity with maintenance, jig inspections, and defect prevention methods Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated problem-solving ability and continuous improvement mindset Ability to foster teamwork and coach employees toward performance goals Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance standards Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to safety and quality standards Preferred Qualifications Technical certification or degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service, upfitting, assembly, or manufacturing environments Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience Experience in custom installations, aftermarket service, or vehicle modification environments preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working on vehicles or equipment Experience using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment, including hoists What You Will Do Supervise daily PIO operations, including installation of customer- and distributor-requested options such as accessories, electronics, and vehicle modifications Assign and prioritize work for PIO technicians based on incoming orders, vehicle and parts availability, and operational priorities Monitor installation pr
