Description If another position becomes available within five months of this recruitment's closing date, the applicant pool from this posting may be used to fill additional vacancies.When you come to work for New Jersey Judiciary you will join an 8500-member strong TEAM that operates with the highest standards of independence, integrity, fairness and quality service.You will be engaged with work that has purpose, meaning and makes a difference in lives of the public we serve.We work hard every day to build the public's trust and confidence in our court system, which includes issues such as bail reform, marijuana decriminalization and recovery court.Whether it be in a courtroom, an administrative office, a courthouse training room, an IT office or in the field, our Judiciary workforce is improving the lives of countless individuals and families every day.We honor the dignity and individualism of each member of our organization while fostering professionalism and continuous improvement in our work.SALARY:The salary range for this position is $45,877.84 to $69,484.11 for Schedule A, and $45,877.84 to $62,203.88 for Schedule B.For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range.For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule A.Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule B.The Judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth.The Union Vicinage is seeking a team-oriented individual with great customer service skills to join the Operations Division.Under the direction of the Operations Division Manager (Court Executive 2B) and the direct supervision of the Assistant Operations Division Manager (Court Executive 1B) this individual may occasionally operate a passenger vehicle or van to deliver mail, transport supplies and equipment, and perform other related duties as directed by a supervisor or manager.REMOTE WORK:The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings.To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.Example of Duties Assist with and respond to facilities-related issues within the vicinage Submit work order for facilities to the Couty and monitor their resolution Assist with office moves, staff relocations, events as needed Troubleshoot CourtSmart issues reported by court staff Operate audio and video equipment as required Cross-train in other areas of operations as needed Sort, collect, organize, route and distribute mail, cards, letters, material, and packages and/or office supplies Operation of automobiles, light duty trucks, vans or other motor vehicles is required Make mail pickup and delivery runs including between buildings and other offsite locations (distance of approximately 30 miles roundtrip, with occasional longer trips) Accept deliveries from express carriers, couriers, vendors, etc.Lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) Stoop, climb, bend and stretch to reach job-related materials Use hand truck or cart to move boxes and equipment from location to location Answer telephones Basic keyboarding skills, able to reply to email correspondence.Able to accurately record work time in electronic timekeeping system Participate in team/work unit meetings Provide cross-training to co-workers (i.e., demonstrate to other staff how you perform your work) Compute simple numerical data Present self and work product in a professional manner Provide quality customer service to court users and/or internal customers Check condition of fleet vehicles and see they are properly serviced and maintained in good operating condition Keep motor vehicles supplied with gas, oil, water and emergency supplies Secure (obtain) titles, registrations and insurance cards for fleet vehicles Perform other related duties as required Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.Qualifications Open to employees of the Union Vicinage who have an aggregate of one year of permanent service as of the announced closing date in the following career (classified) titles:Advancement Judiciary Clerk 2 Judiciary Clerk 2 Bilingual Judiciary Account Clerk 1 Judiciary Account Clerk 1 Bilingual Lateral Reassignment Judiciary Account Clerk 2 Judiciary Account Clerk 2 Bilingual Judiciary Clerk 3 Judiciary Clerk 3 Bilingual Eligibility for Advancement:Eligibility is based upon the applicants having achieved all the competencies for advancement to Judiciary Clerk 3 as listed on the Career Progression Eligibility Form for
