IdeaCrew is currently seeking junior Data Engineers to join our innovative, hard-working team as we disrupt healthcare technology. As a member of our Analytics team, you will work with a modern data stack, build scalable data pipelines with python, and support external and internal reporting needs. A Junior Data Engineer for IdeaCrew will Build and scale data pipelines in production environments using a modern data stack. Carry out complex analysis utilizing PostgresSQL. Implement data modeling best practices to support analytics and reporting needs. Design technical architectures and infrastructure components. Create automated data and code quality checks. Implement and enforce data governance policies and best practices to ensure data security and compliance. Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including business process owners, analysts, and software engineers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Develop and maintain technical and process documentation such as data dictionaries, ERDs, data governance policies, etc. Desired Skills & Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python for data processing in a production environment. 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL. Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or CouchDB is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in collaborative, cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of the fundamentals of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling concepts. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) in a production environment. Experience with the training and evaluation of machine learning models in consultation with stakeholders, SMEs, and other data scientists is a plus
