THE COMPANY:CompletePet is a leading developer and manufacturer of dermatological and nutritional products for the pet community.Locally owned and operated, CP is committed to the success and growth of both its brand partners and employees.We are a rapidly growing business, looking for dynamic and entrepreneurial team members who are interested in growing and creating.JOB Summary:The Junior Production Scheduler/Planner job is to use their knowledge of the production process and data-driven reports, to create daily and weekly production schedules.This position is responsible for effectively scheduling sales orders through the manufacturing process to ensure the company and its customer's objectives are achieved and that all deadlines are met.You must also be able to comprehend reports and make recommendations about where improvements should be made.You must be able to multitask and provide quick responses to production problems such as a machine being down, an inventory discrepancy, or a production failure.As issues may be unforeseen, the production scheduler must know how to shift resources and ensure accurate data to their key partners within the company which include:Purchasing, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Product Development.As generating reports and schedules may require the use of software, the production scheduler must have an aptitude to create and innovate several reports to fulfill accurate data from several sources such as QuickBooks, Excel, Google sheets, QT9.etc.You will work closely with the Planning Team, the Supply Chain Director and the supply chain analyst to ensure that all information given not only outside of the company but inside of the company is accurate and correct.NUMBERS MATTER! This is a very detailed oriented position.One number one way or the other could cause chaos in many different areas.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:Works daily with multiple departments to create, plan, establish, and maintain filling/packaging schedules, to maximize operational efficiencies and meet shipping dates according to customer orders.Tracks progress of filling and packaging and coordinates multiple departments to move orders through the operational process.Serves as the primary source for all scheduling questions.Modifies schedules to align with changing business needs as required.Update reports with the schedule information to multiple departments.Works to continuously refine scheduling tools.Provides visibility to Operations of how we can use workers and resources in the most effective manner.Communicates with Operations to ensure due dates will be met and escalates concerns to Senior Planning Scheduler or Supply Chain Director as needed.Owns key performance indicators related to scheduling such as Schedule adherence, schedule accuracy, on time, in full, etc.Monitors factors that impact schedule adherence including equipment capacities, bulk, components, and raw material level inventories, customer requests, product quality, etc.Daily update of the OOSR, all daily issues must be timely entered into OOSR to keep all departments updated.Identify problems and help improve processes.Use software to generate reports and schedules.Ensure that company deadlines are met.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Must be a great communicator.Strong process management skills Must be a very organized/timely person.Must have an extreme sense of urgency Strong organizational skills to drive efficiency and timelines Excellent project management skills Strong numerical skills are essential Strong time management.IDEAL CANDIDATE Qualifications:Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.Commitment to lifelong learning.Ability to work under high pressure while following instructions and display great communication skills and keen attention to detail.Works daily with a great positive attitude to accomplish our goals, hey indicators, and core values.Strong detail orientation.Must have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and a good sense of priorities.Ability to act with a sense of urgency without compromising quality.Must have strong interpersonal skills that enable effective communication and collaboration with personal goals and promote a team environment.EDUCATION AND Experience:Engineering degree preferred.Advanced level of Excel & Google sheets.Basic knowledge to navigate and work with ERP systems.2 years of experience in planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Desk in the supply chain/planning department.Will be asked to move documents from one location to another within the company.Most significantly deviations & batches.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Referral program Vision insurance Education:Bachelor's (Pref
