Village Motor Works is a growing independent automotive repair facility specializing in European and high-end Japanese vehicles. We are looking for a Junior Service Advisor / Client Experience Specialist to join our front office team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, and has a genuine interest in the automotive industry. Prior automotive experience is helpful but not required for the right person. This is NOT a “sit behind a desk and answer phones” position. We are looking for someone who can create a professional, welcoming customer experience while learning the business side of automotive service. What We’re Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality with strong people skills Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone Professional appearance appropriate for a customer-facing environment Highly organized and dependable Comfortable learning technology and shop software Genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry Able to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive attitude Willingness to learn and grow into a long-term career position Preferred (But Not Required): Customer service experience Hospitality experience (restaurants, hotels, retail, Chick-fil-A style customer service mindset, etc.) Automotive service experience (6 months to 1 year preferred but not required) Experience handling phones, scheduling, or sales Important: We are specifically looking for someone interested in a front-office customer service and sales career path. This is not intended to be a transition role for technicians moving out of the shop. A Note About This Position: This position requires strong multi-tasking ability and the capacity to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. A successful Service Advisor must be able to manage phone calls, customer interactions, scheduling, technician communication, follow-ups, and changing priorities simultaneously throughout the day. This is not a slow-paced desk job. The ability to stay calm, organized, and professional while handling multiple tasks at once is absolutely essential to success in this role.
