Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic HR team.In this role, you will play a vital part in attracting top talent across various departments by supporting the full recruitment lifecycle.Your enthusiasm for connecting with candidates, combined with your strong communication skills, will help us build a talented workforce that drives our organization forward.This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in talent management, sourcing strategies, and HR technology platforms while making a meaningful impact on our company's growth.Responsibilities Ability to deliver results with little supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Participate in candidate sourcing efforts Conduct initial phone screens Schedule calls and interviews Post on job boards such as zip recruiter and indeed Conduct initial screening calls and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit for open roles.Coordinate employee orientation sessions and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.Maintain relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders through effective communication and relationship management techniques.Contribute to talent acquisition strategies by researching market trends, assisting with succession planning, and supporting training & development programs.Experience Previous experience or internships in recruiting, HR sourcing, or talent acquisition is preferred but not required.Excellent communication skills with the ability to cold call potential candidates and manage multiple relationships effectively.Knowledge of social media management tools for recruiting purposes is a plus.Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook Able to take direction and willing to work alone if needed Ability to successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) Company or Facility background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screening Identifying any needs for job fairs, flyers, additional advertising needs, etc Research, source (using referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to hiring managers Pay:$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Education:High school or equivalent (Required) License/Certification:Drivers License (Required) Ability to Commute:West Hartford, CT 06110 (Required) Work Location:In person.
