JOB The Kent County 17th Circuit Court is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Juvenile Success Coordinator to support youth in our diversion and community probation programs. This full-time role is assigned to the Girls Court Program and will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide program services to justice-involved youth.The Ideal candidate is one who believes in second chances, enjoys mentoring at-risk youth, and thrives on building positive connections with families, schools, and community partners.Juvenile Success Coordinators provide hands-on support and supervision for youth who are on community probation. Juvenile Success Coordinators monitor their progress at home, school, and work; encourage compliance with program goals, court orders, and case plans; and help them access resources that promote accountability and personal growth. Every day brings new opportunities to make a meaningful impact on young lives—whether meeting with a family, coordinating with service providers, or conducting a home visit.What You’ll DoGuide juveniles and families through the expectations of diversion and community probation programs.Develop and implement individualized case plans that outline goals, supports, and accountability measures.Monitor school attendance, employment, curfew, community service, and participation in treatment or other required programs.Conduct home, school, and community visits to assess progress and provide ongoing support.Testify in court hearings, as necessary.Recommend and apply incentives or sanctions in collaboration with court staff.Maintain accurate, detailed records of all contacts and progress updates.Provide transportation support for programming and community outings.Must be available to work second shift.
