K-8 Learning Center/LAHB/SELC Paraprofessional, ESY Program POSITION OVERVIEW Support students and teachers in small groups to maintain skills over the summer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Facilitate student learning under direction of the classroom teacher Support student engagement in activities Provide direct instruction as planned by the classroom teacher Assist with coordination and preparation of materials Documentation of skills and/or behaviors as directed by the classroom teacher Other duties as assigned Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED: Experience working with students with learning disabilities preferred Schedule: July 8, 2024 - August 1, 2024 9:00 - 12:00, Monday - Thursday Additional day of training prior to start of program Additional 15 minutes per day for planning Contact information-ESY Coordinators ***All employees must be vaccinated and maintain full vaccination as a condition of employment or work as an on-site vendor/contractor, unless they receive approval for a documented medical or religious exemption in accordance with relevant state and/or federal law.
