Kennel Associate Full Time Salary: $13.50 /hour Full Time Must be 18 years of age or older for this position. Animal Experience-preferred. Almost Home Humane Society is looking for someone with experience working with animals either in a kennel setting or vet office. The candidate must be flexible, and willing to get dirty. Multi-tasking and flexibility is a must. Job Description We are looking to hire for the position of Kennel Worker, for a non-profit animal shelter. This position works daily with dogs. Experience preferred. Clean Kennels and crates each day Walk dogs, move dogs to various areas around shelter General Animal upkeep, washing etc. Clean dog runs and yards Follow directives from Manager/Upper Management Ensure animals are safe, and well cared for. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Bring dogs out to the public for meet and greets. The candidate must be professional, mature, flexible, and willing to get dirty.
