Pay is $16-$18 an hour plus Tips! Tips range from $3.00- $5.00 additional an hour. We also do Pay raises every 6 months! We offer family type atmosphere. Happy Tales is a boarding facility for dogs. We deal with all types of clientele and different lengths of stay. What we are in search of is a FRIENDLY and confident person who has a passion for animals and the importance of quality of care. We are looking for full time and that is available on weekends, but can also work some weekdays. This is at times not a glamorous job. We get dirty, wet, and you name it daily. So beyond having love for animals, this is the requirements of an employee we would have part of our team: This position requires being able to perform back kennel duties, such as: Feeding and medicating Cleaning kennels, as well as the surrounding areas of the building. Laundry Dishes bathing Letting dogs in and out for outdoor play time Cleaning up after the dogs Nature walks and other services we provide This position also requires being able to perform front office duties such as customer service, administrative duties, and effective communication in person, by phone, and by email. We need someone who can pass a background test, has a flexible schedule and can work weekends and holidays as needed, has own reliable transportation, and wants to work hard, get dirty, and thrive in a family type work culture.
