Kennel Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess relevant experience in handling and caring for animals. Duties Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas Monitor the health and well-being of animals Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff Assist with grooming and bathing of animals Interact with pet owners and provide exceptional customer service Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior -Maintain cleanliness of kennels inside and out Requirements Previous experience in animal care or related field preferred Knowledge of basic animal handling techniques Ability to work well in a team environment Strong communication skills with both clients and coworkers Physical ability to lift and move animals of various sizes Certification as a Veterinary Assistant or similar qualification is a plus Familiarity with dog training techniques is beneficial This position offers the opportunity to work closely with animals in a rewarding environment.
