Job Description
Kepware Specialist Location: Berwick, Maine (Onsite) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Kepware Specialist to support industrial connectivity, automation, and data integration initiatives in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with KEPServerEX, Ignition, and Python scripting, along with the ability to work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams. This is an onsite role based in Berwick, Maine supporting critical manufacturing and industrial automation systems. Key Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot KEPServerEX environments for industrial device connectivity and data acquisition. Develop and support Ignition-based HMI/SCADA applications and integrations. Create automation scripts and tools using Python for data processing, monitoring, and system enhancements. Integrate PLCs, OPC servers, and manufacturing systems to support plant operations. Monitor system performance and resolve connectivity, communication, and application issues. Collaborate with manufacturing, controls, and IT teams to ensure reliable industrial system operations. Support system upgrades, deployments, testing, and documentation activities. Assist with data collection, reporting, and manufacturing analytics initiatives. Follow cybersecurity and operational best practices within industrial environments. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with KEPServerEX / Kepware administration and configuration. Hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA/HMI platform. Proficiency in Python scripting and automation. Experience working with OPC, industrial protocols, and manufacturing systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in industrial environments. Ability to work onsite and collaborate directly with operations and engineering teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in manufacturing or industrial automation environments. Exposure to PLC integrations and factory systems. Experience with Zeiss systems or integrations is highly preferred, but not mandatory. Aerospace or automotive industry experience is a plus.
