Job Description
The Kindergarten Aide supports the classroom teacher in creating a nurturing, faith-filled, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.This role assists with daily classroom activities, helps maintain a safe and orderly space, and encourages students social, emotional, and academic growth in alignment with the mission and values of the Catholic school community.Key Responsibilities- Support the lead teacher with instructional activities, classroom management, and supervision. Assist students individually or in small groups with learning tasks, routines, and transitions. Help prepare materials, organize supplies, and maintain a clean, welcoming classroom. Supervise children during recess, lunch, and other non-classroom times as needed. Model and reinforce positive behavior, kindness, and respect rooted in Catholic values. Communicate effectively and professionally with staff, students, and families.Qualifications- Experience working with young children preferred. Warm, patient, and collaborative disposition. Ability to support the Catholic mission and participate respectfully in faith-based activities. Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with children.
