Job Title:Kitchen Assistant - Chocolate Production Location: East Boston, MA Type:Part-Time About Us:We are a small-batch artisan chocolate company dedicated to producing high-quality, handmade products with care, precision, and attention to detail.Position Overview:We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our chocolate production team and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to grow within the company for the right candidate.Responsibilities:Wash dishes, molds, trays, and production equipment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and production areas Assist the chocolatiers with basic prep and production tasks Package finished products and label them accurately Organize ingredients, tools, and storage areas Restock supplies and carry materials as needed Assist customers with purchases when needed Take out trash and maintain overall workspace order Work collaboratively as part of a team Qualifications:Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs Strong work ethic and attention to detail Team-oriented mindset Comfortable standing for extended periods Previous kitchen or food production experience is a plus (not required) Growth Opportunity:This role offers the potential to learn chocolate production techniques and advance into a more hands-on chocolatier position for candidates who demonstrate reliability, consistency, and strong performance.Pay:$17.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred) Language:English (Required) Ability to Commute:Boston, MA 02128 (Required) Work Location:In person.
