OverviewLooking for a part time Cook/dishwasher Responsibilities Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals according to established standards Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety guidelines to ensure consistent quality Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards Handle food items safely during storage, handling, and serving processes in compliance with health regulations Aid in meal plating and presentation to ensure appealing and timely service Support catering events or special meal requests by preparing ingredients or assisting with setup and serving Follow all food handling procedures diligently to promote a safe and hygienic kitchen environment Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is preferred but not required Basic knowledge of food safety Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques are advantageous Experience working in restaurants or the food industry demonstrates valuable kitchen familiarity Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations Embark on a rewarding journey in the culinary world by applying your passion for food and service.We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where every team member can grow their skills while contributing to delicious experiences for our community.Pay:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
