Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the overall operations of our kitchen. Duties Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support cooks and chefs during meal preparation by providing necessary tools and ingredients. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring all food handling meets quality standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Skills Proficiency with knife skills for food preparation. Experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn from experienced cooks.
