Kitchen Lead

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and organized Food Truck Shift Leader to oversee the daily operations of our burger food truck, Double B’s Burgers. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage staff, provide excellent customer service, maintain food quality standards, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities & Duties Manage daily food truck operations from opening to closing Supervise and lead team members during shifts Prepare and cook menu items while maintaining food quality and consistency Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for the truck, kitchen equipment, and food prep areas Start cash drawer Assist with training new staff Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health department standards Coordinate truck setup, breakdown, and event preparation Track sales, waste, and daily operational performance Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and efficiently Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant management experience or leadership highly preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Reliable transportation and flexible schedule Ability to stand for long periods and lift supplies when necessary Cash handling and basic math skills required Preferred Qualities Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team-oriented and dependable Ability to multitask under pressure Strong problem-solving skills Passion for food and customer satisfaction Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Ability to Commute: Modesto, CA 95354 (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
