Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager along with skilled Line Cooks to join our vibrant food service team. As a Kitchen Manager and line cook, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of food safety, managing daily kitchen activities, supervising staff, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety procedures, proper food handling, and efficient cooking techniques. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations. Lead shift management activities including scheduling, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours. Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items or improve existing recipes to enhance customer satisfaction. Monitor food production costs within budget while maintaining high standards of quality. Ensure all staff adhere to food safety standards, including HACCP protocols and sanitation practices. Support staff training & development initiatives to foster a motivated and skilled team environment. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within quick service or fast-food restaurants. Strong background in restaurant management or hospitality management with supervising experience. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Knowledge of inventory control methods and food safety regulations; certifications such as ServSafe are a plus. Experience working in casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is advantageous. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train & develop staff effectively. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates, supervising team members, and engaging with customers. Knowledge of budgeting, food management, and restaurant operations is highly desirable. Previous hotel or barista experience is a bonus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
