Kitchen Manager Biscuits & Buns at OCH (Our Cozy Home) is a Southern brunch concept located in a beautiful Lower Garden District venue at 1133 Margaret Place. We're hiring a hands-on Kitchen Manager to run the line, lead the back-of-house team, and keep our kitchen systems sharp. This is a cooking role first — you'll be on the line during service, not behind a desk. You'll lead daily operations, manage prep and inventory, train staff on our recipes and standards, and hold the team accountable to attendance, sanitation, and execution. Menu development and food costing are handled by leadership, so you can focus on what you do best: running a clean, organized, high-performing kitchen. Core schedule is Thursday through Monday, 8 AM – 2 PM, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off most weeks. Some evening shifts, festival pop-ups, and catering events will also be part of the role, so flexibility is required.
