Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this vital role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster a positive team environment, and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations. Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and operational efficiency. Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Maintain a positive work environment by supervising team members, conducting interviews, and fostering teamwork. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Proven ability to manage inventory control systems and utilize POS platforms like Aloha POS or Micros POS effectively. Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and managing restaurant operations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations relevant to the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management and guest satisfaction. Background in fine dining or casual dining environments with banquet or catering experience considered a plus. Ability to handle budgeting responsibilities, shift management, and food production planning efficiently.
