Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team.The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion, dedication and creativity skills for food for our upscale casual, from scratch cooking, restaurant.As a Cook, you will play a vital role along with culinary staff members in ensuring that our culinary department delivers high-quality cuisine.Your expertise in food preparation and culinary techniques will contribute to creating delicious and appealing dishes.Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes.Ensure all food is prepared in a safe, sanitary manner while adhering to health and safety regulations.Assist in menu planning, including special dietary needs and preferences.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours.Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.Utilize kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other cooking tools.Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills.Experience Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service or food industry is preferred.Familiarity with kitchen operations, including safety protocols and sanitation standards.Strong knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Join our team and bring your culinary expertise to create memorable dining experiences!
