Lab Manager

Job Summary:The Lab Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining equipment, managing supplies, and supporting research or instructional activities.This role ensures efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, and a productive laboratory environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily laboratory operations and workflow Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal safety regulations Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment Coordinate with faculty, researchers, and administration to support projects Develop and implement laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Entomology, or related field Previous laboratory management or supervisory experience preferred Strong organizational and leadership skills Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and compliance regulations Proficiency in data management and laboratory software Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills:Experience with research protocols and experimental design Budget management experience Training or mentoring experience Pay:$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Education:Bachelor's (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
