Job Description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a unit that values your technical skill while supporting patient-centered care. Assist physicians and Cath Lab staff in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture critical cardiac and vascular data. What You'll Need: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist. Rad Tech state licensure required for Indiana. ARRT certification required. ARRT Cert listed by client as required. BLS required. 2+ years experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital Cath Lab setting. Client requests 2–3 years. Experience with Cath Lab equipment and EPIC/Cupid preferred. Willingness to participate in on-call and holiday coverage as required by the department. Ability to float to nearby affiliated Cath Lab locations as needed. (Float to Munster possible per client.) Preferred: RCIS (CCI) certification. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Primary Specialty: Cath Lab Tech. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 0800-1600; additional day options include M–F 8:00–16:30 or 10-hour shifts such as 07:00–17:30 for a 4-day week (per client schedule options). Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40. Weekend Hours: On call. Call Requirements / Holiday Coverage: Yes. Number of Openings: 1. Patient Types: Outpatient, inpatient, emergent. Location Highlights Discover Dyer, Indiana and the surrounding Northwest Indiana region. Dyer is a suburban community located approximately 25 miles southeast of Chicago and about 15 miles west of the Indiana Dunes National Park shoreline. The area offers access to Lake Michigan beaches at Indiana Dunes National Park and recreational trails such as the Calumet Trail within a 20–30 minute drive. The region features commuter rail options into downtown Chicago via nearby stations in Munster and Hammond with typical drive times to those stations under 20 minutes. Local lifestyle fits suburban living with nearby access to urban amenities, regional parks, and family-friendly dining and shopping districts along Ridge Road and Main Street corridors.
