Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Labeling Specialist and become a vital contributor to our quality assurance and manufacturing processes! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all product labels meet strict quality standards, are accurately applied, and comply with regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver safe, reliable, and top-quality products to our customers. Duties Set up, operate, and adjust automatic or semi-automatic labeling machinery Perform detailed quality audits on labeling processes to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications. Conduct regular quality control checks during manufacturing to identify and resolve labeling discrepancies promptly. Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, data collection, and audit results for continuous improvement. Collaborate with production teams to implement quality management systems that enhance labeling accuracy and efficiency. Analyze inspection data to identify trends or recurring issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions. Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to labeling and quality assurance practices. Perform basic cleaning and troubleshooting of labeling equipment, such as clearing jams or refilling glue and label rolls Monitor and restock label supplies and raw materials to prevent production downtime Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required protective gear and following Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures Support training initiatives by educating team members on quality systems, inspection techniques, and best practices for labeling. Experience Proven experience in quality inspection, quality control, or quality assurance within manufacturing or production environments. Strong understanding of quality management principles, systems, and standards such as QA/QC protocols. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed data collection and analysis to support continuous improvement efforts. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, especially related to labeling or packaging operations. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify deviations from established standards quickly. Maintain accurate logs of materials used and production counts. Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating effectively across teams. Mechanical aptitude with ability to work with and understand the basic functions of industrial machinery. Experience with implementing or maintaining quality systems, conducting audits, or performing root cause analysis is highly desirable.
