DD&N Contracting is a family-owned business, we specialize in bridge washing and cleaning services for the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT).Our team is dedicated to ensuring quality and safety while maintaining the vital infrastructure that connects our communities. Position Overview:We are in search of a committed and enthusiastic minority laborer who holds a valid driver's license.The ideal candidate should be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and inclement weather.This role offers the chance to join a vibrant team and make significant contributions to essential projects. Key Responsibilities: Execute tasks related to the washing and cleaning of bridges to meet NYSDOT standards. Safely operate and maintain various cleaning equipment and vehicles, including driving trucks to different job sites. Direct traffic as needed to ensure safety at work sites and guide vehicles during cleaning operations. Engage in physical labor, including lifting and moving materials and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure the projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. Follow safety regulations and protocols, including wearing protective gear and adhering to safety procedures at all times. Be prepared to work outside in various weather conditions, demonstrating resilience in challenging climates. Keep job sites clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Adapt to changing tasks and conditions as directed by supervisors, showcasing flexibility in job duties. Qualifications: minority - Must possess a valid driver's license. Willingness to work Monday through Friday for 10-hour shifts. Comfortable working outdoors in heat or other challenging weather conditions.
