Laborers are to work with the Foreman to execute their scope of work for the project.Laborers must have a clear understanding of their equipment and the project and scope of work expected from them.Crew member responsibilities involve being directed to do their jobs in order to complete the project and may include learning and being trained in new areas, so as to increase profits and improve customer relationships and satisfaction.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for the execution of the plan set forward by the Foreman and the Superintendent Must be able to follow directions Acquire an understanding of the project at hand and the relative requirements Operate Equipment Adherence to all health and Safety Standards Have a vested interest in the company's success and strive to better everyone and everything Properly maintain equipment and keep in clean operating order Be on time always and ask what more can I help with Qualifications:Listed below are the qualifications required to successfully perform the job.These qualifications are not mandatory but highly encouraged, we believe the more qualifications you have the greater your chance of success will be.Qualifications include:Able to work long hours and weekends Experience in your respective trade Self-Motivated with a results driven approach Ability to work as a team Communication Skills- communicating problems with Foreman Organizational Skills Have a complete understanding of the equipment you operate Thoroughness and reliability Prioritizing skills Willingness and ability to keep all operation certifications current and complete Working knowledge of general construction safety policy's & procedure's Working Conditions:Morgan Asphalt will provide all tools and necessary equipment will be provided to complete the work.Expect all your time to be spent working at any of the three material operation sites (Grantsville Aggregate Pit, 201 Recycle plant, or 201 Hot Plant).Plan on working all 4 seasons outside and dress accordingly to protect yourself from the elements.Working conditions will vary based on location but all locations will have uneven ground, limited access, and risks of slips, trips, and falls.Physical Requirements:A pre-employment physical & drug test will be required before employment to ensure physical health.This job can require lifting heavy loads 50lbson rare occasions (fabric rolls and tools) and is extremely strenuous on the body.Ability to stand up all day, walk across the job site, and be able to use manually operated tools are a requirement.Direct Reports:Laborers report directly to the trade specific Foreman.Any safety or production issues you encounter will need to be reported to the Foreman.It is the foreman who is responsible for compiling and completing the daily reports in the TRACK program.All employees will be responsible for keeping their time on a physical timecard and turning it in each week..
