OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and dependable Laborer to join our dynamic team in supporting warehouse operations and distribution activities.This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient materials handling, inventory management, and shipping & receiving processes.The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, ensuring smooth workflow and safety compliance across all tasks.Paid positions are available, emphasizing the importance of every team member's contribution to our success.Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to ensure safe and efficient material movement.Support inventory management efforts by accurately stocking, organizing, and tracking materials within the warehouse using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).Operate heavy machinery including cranes, forklifts, and other mechanical equipment following OSHA safety standards to handle large or heavy items.Conduct order picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities with precision to meet shipping deadlines.Maintain accurate records of inventory control, shipping & receiving logs, and inbound/outbound shipments using AS400 or other warehouse management systems.Assist in construction or manufacturing-related tasks when required, supporting team efforts in various operational areas.Follow safety protocols diligently during all materials handling activities to promote a safe working environment for everyone.Skills Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse distribution processes.Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 platforms, and inventory control procedures.Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining proper mechanical techniques.Mechanical knowledge related to packaging machinery or materials handling equipment is a plus.Prior warehouse experience including stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and load & unload operations.Understanding of OSHA safety standards relevant to warehouse environments and heavy equipment operation.Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team coordination.Join us as a vital part of our logistics team where your energy drives operational excellence!
