Temporary Seasonal Laborer - Haines, Alaska AP&T is seeking a motivated and dependable temporary laborer to join our team in Haines, Alaska.This is a full-time position that will provide a variety of support to the line crew, plant crew and truck shop crew.As a laborer, this position will assist with a variety of hands-on tasks including:Brush cutting and weed trimming Oil changes and basic mechanical maintenance Supporting power plant operations Other duties as assigned by the property manager.This is a manual labor role that requires strong work ethic and a willingness to take on diverse tasks Schedule:7:00A.M.to 4:00P.M., Monday through Friday Occasional over time may be required The position will run for 16 weeks from hire date Candidate Qualifications Required:High School Diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by AP&T 1 year mechanical or electrical experience preferred Ability to lift 70 pounds Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug test.May be subject to random drug testing at any time Basic computer skills The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour.Recognition of our employees is important to AP&T's values.We like to continuously show appreciation and recognition within our teams.AP&T is a small non-union, employee-owned utility serving over 40 Alaskan communities and villages.EEO Employer/Vets/Disabled and Drug and Alcohol-free workplace.
