Job Description
Works directly with customers to define functional requirements and design, configure, commission, and qualify software solutions. Responsibilities The primary focus will be the automation of Test Systems and R&D systems. Collaborate with customers to gather system requirements and design system functionality. Design applications using LVOOP, Actor Framework (or equivalent). Develop and modify complex LabVIEW applications, that use LVOOP and design patterns like Actor Framework, DQMH, or similar. Design/develop SQL scripts for SQLite, Microsoft SQL, or MySQL databases. Design electrical control panels and instrument wiring diagrams. Commission system at customers’ sites. Train and mentor new engineers. Qualifications Basic Qualifications At least 5 years of designing and architecting LabVIEW applications using Actor Framework or equivalent design pattern. Certified LabVIEW Architect or equivalent professional experience. Desired Qualifications Experience with NI Real-Time programming for embedded targets (cRIO, PXIe). Ability to interact with mechanical designers and provide suggestions. Experience with Robotics and Vision Inspection Systems.
