Role Description The Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) will provide high-quality, client-centered mental health services to individuals, families, and groups. Responsibilities include conducting individual assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The LAC will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best care. This full-time position is on-site at our Westfield, NJ location and requires adherence to ethical guidelines and a dedication to patient wellbeing. Qualifications Experience in providing individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning Proficient knowledge of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and client-centered therapy Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills Ability to establish trust and rapport in a multicultural and inclusive setting Master's degree in Counseling or a related field and an active LAC license in New Jersey Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred Commitment to professional development and continuing education Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards
