Position Summary: Under general supervision a laminator sets up, operates, and maintains machinery to bind, protect, or strengthen materials (like paper, films, or foils) by applying adhesive or protective lamination films. They read job specifications, monitor machines for quality defects, and perform routine troubleshooting to ensure finished products meet standards. Responsibilities: Acquire knowledge of Summit Traveler and stack up sheet. Check material availability. Check stack up that core layers match. Review prior runs for any changes that may have been made. Clean plates and separators for lay-up room. Operator may have to oxide layers, if personnel are not available. Lay-up layers and book panels for lamination. Every panel must be identified according to work order and tool number. Books will be loaded into the press to the right recipe and unloaded/breakdown books if personnel are not available. Comprehend industry standards, customer specifications, designated reference materials and their appropriate application. Work independently with minimal supervision. Work under pressure with time constraints. Operate all processes and supporting equipment with little supervision Effectively follow company systems and procedures. Minimum Qualifications:
