Account Manager in San Diego, CA Position: Project Account Manager Starting Salary: Negotiable upon experience: Landscape Maintenance “Contract Extras” - Generally, 2% commissions are paid on extras and enhancement quotes. Please note that the potential exists for these commissions to be shared if other management staff are involved in the pricing, presenting and/or managing the Contract Extra(s). New Landscape Maintenance Contract(s) - For any new maintenance contract leads that you deliver and result in new work for the company, there is a commission that equals 10% of the first month's contract base fee. Benefits: Commissions as stated above and bound in the “Commission Agreement” to be mutually executed Paid Vacation - (2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years , 4 weeks after 10 years) Vehicle for business use and daily commute 401(k) plan Cell phone and potentially other electronic device(s) Health Insurance (Health Net – employee contribution required) Dental Insurance available Vision Insurance available O’Connell to pay for continuing education and other mutually agreed paid training Job Duties & Essential Job Functions Act as liaison between the Company and the customer and/or the customer’s representative Act as Company liaison with management companies and/or other entities and agencies Visit the various job sites on a regular basis to ensure the services provided by the Company are at, or above Company standards. Attend homeowner association board meetings and/or other meetings as required (which may include evening meetings). Attend site inspections as needed. Lift items that are more than 30+ pounds in weight Account Manager Position Attend site meetings that relate to job bids for new work Create and present quotes and proposals for potential new work. Provide support for other Company personnel as it relates to the services provided by the Company including, but not limited to: a. Assist in creating price quotes for extra work b. Assist in presenting quotes for extra work c. Assist in resolving disputes with customers and/or homeowners d. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues Attend Company meetings and/or functions as required. Assist and oversee Company personnel matters as it relates to discipline, hiring, dismissing and training Company employees Be available for all Company duties beginning at 6:00 am weekdays. Essential job functions include but are not limited to, on-site management of personnel at the designated yard and/or job site On average there is 4-6 hours per day spent driving and/or walking. Other requirements include, but are not limited to: (1) strong communication skills, and ability to communicate in-person, via phone, via email, and through presentation, (2) proficiency in microsoft office, (3) ability to attend night meetings, (4) valid driver’s license and ability to drive, and (5) understanding of landscape maintenance to the degree that allows for assessment at customer and potential customer locations (e.g., inspection of HOA property).
