Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the successful execution of high-end residential landscape and pool construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned builder who is a true subject matter expert in both landscape construction and swimming pool construction. The Construction Manager will oversee projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring that every detail is executed to the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and efficiency. This individual will provide technical leadership to field teams, serve as a trusted resource for solving complex construction challenges, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities Serve as the company’s technical expert in landscape and pool construction methods, materials, and sequencing Oversee multiple luxury residential projects, including pools, spas, hardscape, grading, drainage, irrigation, lighting, and planting Provide guidance and support to field superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors Review construction documents and identify potential issues before work begins Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate all phases of construction Monitor job costs, budgets, and profitability Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure accountability for quality and performance Communicate effectively with clients, designers, architects, and consultants Troubleshoot complex field conditions and develop practical, cost-effective solutions Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on construction management experience Extensive expertise in both swimming pool construction and landscape construction Deep understanding of structural pool systems, hydraulics, waterproofing, hardscape, grading, drainage, irrigation, and horticulture Ability to read and interpret construction plans, engineering drawings, and specifications Strong leadership and mentoring skills Excellent organizational and communication abilities Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and multiple concurrent projects Valid driver’s license Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a highly experienced builder who has personally managed complex outdoor construction projects and is regarded as a go-to expert in both pool and landscape construction.
