Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios or walkways Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf and vibrant gardens Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, pruning, and landscape shaping Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes Conduct landscape maintenance activities including weeding, mulching, and seasonal clean-up such as snow plowing when needed Help with tree care activities like trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety Maintain equipment including excavators and other construction machinery to ensure optimal performance Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance preferred Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures when handling tools and machinery Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment Prior experience in landscaping, tree care, irrigation systems or hardscape installation is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners This role is designed for energetic individuals eager to learn new skills while contributing to beautiful outdoor projects.
