Who We Are:Ferrari Lawn & Landscape is a hassle-free, professional landscape company.At Ferrari Lawn & Landscape, we not only pride ourselves on our unparalleled attention to detail, but on our reputation for dependability and communication throughout the service process.We provide landscaping, hardscaping, property maintenance, lawn installation, and landscape construction services to both residential and commercial customers in the Suffield, CT area and beyond.Job Overview:Ferrari Lawn & Landscape is seeking a skilled Landscape Foreman who excels in interpreting designs and effectively executing projects.The Landscape Foreman position involves having a working knowledge of landscaping machinery and experience in the field of landscape or hardscape.The ideal candidate should possess strong management skills to lead and direct their team efficiently and productively, ensuring timely and successful completion of each project.We pride ourselves on using the highest quality products to deliver outstanding results and superior customer service.We are searching for an honest, highly skilled, dedicated, & professional to join our team.Daily duties are assigned to you by the owner.Responsibilities:Drive company vehicle to and from job sites Regularly inspect our equipment, facilities, and work vehicles to make sure everything is functional Ability to operate machinery and take proper care of equipment Practice job site safety Positively engage with customers and homeowners Effectively communicate with supervisor and other team members Work with landscaping crew to prepare and alter properties for landscaping projects Ability to use landscaping machinery to dig holes, level the ground, conduct site excavation, construct retaining walls, and transport heavy landscaping materials Provide physical labor on site alongside landscape crew Properly operate landscape equipment including but not limited to zero turn lawn mowers, weed whackers, blowers, aerators, overseeder, etc.Work with various materials, planting, pruning, and mulching Qualifications:Previous experience in the field of landscape or hardscape Proven experience in landscape management and equipment operation Strong leadership skills Valid driver's license CDL preferred Highschool Diploma / GED (preferred) Must have reliable transportation and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.Must be a team-player with a positive attitude and strong work-ethic Must be organized with attention to detail Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance Punctual with strong attendance history Ability to properly operate landscape construction equipment Adequate knowledge of plants and plant materials Ability to work in all seasonal temperatures and conditions as needed Ability to operate a skid steer, excavator, and other power tools, drive a truck and trailer, work with various materials, planting, pruning, and mulching Ability to problem solve and adapt quickly on your feet Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines A passion for landscape design and a commitment to quality workmanship Schedule:Work days/hours are weather dependent and flexible.Usually Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, to include a 30 minute lunch; may include some Saturdays as needed due to weather and/or project.Benefits:Paid Holidays Simple IRA Accrued PTO (Paid Time Off) Opportunities for professional growth and development Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $35.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
