Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead and oversee landscape maintenance, landscaping, and horticultural projects. In this role, you will supervise a team of skilled workers, ensuring that all outdoor spaces are beautifully crafted, well-maintained, and meet high-quality standards. Your expertise in lawn care, tree care, irrigation, gardening, and construction will drive successful project execution while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscape crews to complete maintenance, planting, construction, and landscaping projects efficiently and to client specifications Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning trees and shrubs, fertilizing, and pest control to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Coordinate irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to optimize water efficiency and plant health Manage gardening activities including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal displays with precision and creativity Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site; conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety among team members Collaborate with clients to understand project goals; provide expert advice on horticulture practices and landscape design enhancements Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accountability and future planning Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and garden design Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing schedules, fertilization, aeration, and pest management Familiarity with construction practices related to landscape installation such as hardscaping or irrigation systems Skills in tree care including pruning, cabling, planting or removal as needed Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely; certifications in equipment operation are a plus Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, team members, and vendors effectively This role is perfect for someone passionate about transforming outdoor spaces while leading a dedicated team.
