Now Hiring:Crew Foreman / Landscape Manager - SLF Landscaping & Design SLF Landscaping & Design is seeking an experienced Crew Foreman / Landscape Manager to oversee daily field operations and manage installation crews.We specialize in native plantings, eco-friendly solutions, and custom hardscapes throughout the Columbia, IL and St.Louis, MO areas.Whether you are a plant-focused leader or a construction-focused leader, there is a spot on our team for you.Position:Crew Foreman / Landscape Manager Location:Columbia, IL / St.Louis, MO Pay:Negotiable, based on experience Job Type:Full-time Benefits:Holidays & Paid time off accrued Requirements:3yrs experience in landscaping, hardscaping or other construction industry Valid driver's license - Class E 3yrs operating heavy equipment (skidsteer, mini excavator, etc) No accidents or serious traffic citations Ability to read blueprints and use a laser transit Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) Time management skills Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks Working knowledge of fleet equipment and trucks used in the industry Must be able to operate all equipment & train other employees on safe & proficient use Smart phone and computer skills Bonus if:Class A CDL Forklift cert, or other heavy eq certs OSHA 10 or 30 certification Formal education in construction or landscaping Experience running a crew Plant knowledge Ability to work overtime and weekends as required Experience leading, organizing & managing multiple people SLF Landscaping & Design prides itself on workmanship and professional field operations.This position is for someone who can lead from the field, manage crews effectively, and ensure projects are completed to standard.To apply, reply to this posting or send your resume and experience to Info@slflandscaping.com Job Type:Full-time Pay:$28.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits:Paid time off Experience:Management:3 years (Preferred) Construction:3 years (Required) License/Certification:Drivers License (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
