Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and driven Landscape Installation & Maintenance Crew Lead to oversee high-end residential and commercial landscape projects.This role leads a 2-4 person crew and is responsible for executing installation work, detailed property maintenance, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and professionally.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, organization, and delivering exceptional outdoor spaces.Key Responsibilities Leadership & Crew Management Lead and supervise a 2-4 person installation/maintenance crew Delegate daily tasks to maximize efficiency and productivity Train crew members on installation techniques and maintenance standards Enforce safety procedures and company policies Maintain positive team morale and accountability Communicate daily progress with Operations Manager/Owner Landscape Installation Duties Read and interpret landscape plans and layout designs Perform site preparation, grading, and drainage corrections Install hardscapes (paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, stone features) Install plant material including trees, shrubs, and perennial beds Coordinate irrigation layout with irrigation technician when necessary Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards Maintain high craftsmanship and attention to detail Landscape Maintenance Duties (Non-Mowing) Oversee pruning and trimming of shrubs and trees Perform seasonal cleanups and debris removal Maintain planting beds (weeding, edging, mulching) Monitor plant health and identify disease or irrigation issues Perform plant replacements and seasonal color installations Ensure all properties are left clean and professionally presented Equipment & Safety Operate skid steers, mini-excavators, compactors, and power tools Conduct daily equipment inspections Maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, and job sites Safely load and secure materials and equipment Follow OSHA and company safety standards Qualifications 2years landscape installation experience 1year in a leadership role preferred Experience with hardscape installation and planting Strong understanding of grading and drainage fundamentals Ability to read landscape plans Valid driver's license Ability to lift 50lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions Strong organizational and communication skills Compensation & Benefits $30 per hour 401k benefits Dental insurance Tips from clients Overtime opportunities Performance-based bonuses Advancement opportunities Paid training Company uniforms Potential year-round employment Ideal Candidate ?
