Job Summary:Grow With Gordon is hiring team members to work on real outdoor projects including food-producing gardens, landscape installations, and community spaces across Kokomo.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, working with plants and tools, and being part of a small, skilled crew that takes pride in doing things the right way -- not the fast or sloppy way.This role involves regular physical labor, including shoveling, raking, and lifting/carrying materials such as mulch, tools, and plants.Team members must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50-60 pounds, bend, kneel, and work on their feet for multiple hours in outdoor conditions.This is not an apprenticeship posting, though motivated team members may later be invited into training or advancement pathways.Responsibilities:Assist with garden cleanups, pruning, mulching, and planting Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and debris Follow crew leader instructions and job plans Maintain job site cleanliness and safety Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Represent Grow With Gordon professionally with clients and partners Skills:Basic tool use (or willingness to learn) Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Strong work ethic and attention to detail Comfort with physical labor (lifting, bending, repetitive motion) Respect for plants, landscapes, and client property Qualifications/Requirements:Must be 18 years or older Reliable transportation to job sites Physically capable of outdoor labor (standing, lifting, kneeling) This job requires the ability to safely lift and carry up to 50-60 pounds repeatedly during a workday.Punctual, dependable, and coachable Authorized to work in the United States No landscaping experience required -- training provided Advancement Opportunities:Grow With Gordon values long-term team members.Reliable workers may be considered for:Increased responsibility Lead roles Specialized training Reimbursed college courses Formal apprenticeship pathways Job Types:Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay:$16.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits:On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Application Question(s):Do you have reliable transportation to job sites in and around Kokomo and the ability to arrive on time for early morning starts?
